What we offer
We produce and provide talking books, e-books, and braille books for children, young people, and adults. We also offer course materials for students in higher education.

Who can join?
Anyone who has difficulty reading visual text and printed books due to a disability or illness may apply to become a borrower at Tibi.

Our services
Tibi makes and lends talking books, e-books, and braille books. We offer books for both children, students and adults.

Contact us
Tibi is a digital library. Our phone line is open on weekdays between 10 AM and 2 PM. You can also contact us by email or schedule a visit if needed.
Collaboration and organization
Tibi works with national and international providers of accessible literature. The service is run by 37 employees in the Department for Accessible Literature at The National Library of Norway, under the Ministry of Culture and Equality.
History
In May 2024, the Norwegian Library of Talking Books and Braille (NLB) became Tibi – The Library for Accessible Literature. The year before, NLB transitioned from an independent institution to a department within The National Library of Norway. Our services stayed the same.
