Growing up with a speech impediment and an auditory processing disorder, Amanda had hills to climb. Through poetry, she found her voice, anmd became America's first Youth Poet Laureate. After reciting a poem at President Biden's inauguration, the audience was moved by Amanda's unifying words, and she became a shining light for the whole world.
